I love this idea!!!
I received it from LivingScriptures.com (an entertainment program we enjoy using as family).
I had wanted to try to make gingerbread houses, but I didn’t want my kids to have even more sugar than they are already consuming. So when I saw this idea, it was an answer to my earnest desires!
We tried it out last night and it went really well, all except for the unexpected downpour of rain that filled our house with HIGH humidity levels. I tried to dehumidify the house last night, but this happened anyway . . .
I’m so sad I didn’t try to take a photo last night. It was so dark, I thought they would at least last through the night. 🤦🏻♀️ Thankfully Curly Cook was understanding and didn’t mind that her stable caved in first.
This is what it used to look like. I think I also need to bake the gingerbread even longer, or cut it into pieces after the first bake and then bake it for an additional 5 minutes? 🤷🏻♀️ Or . . . just let life happen.
Thankfully, no harm no fowl this year. 😉
I hope you can enjoy this fun activity yourself. I think it is worth a try. And . . . if I can do it in Costa Rica, well, it should be MUCH easier to do in the United States. Love you!
Merry Christmas, 🎄
