Where do I even begin? I guess I should first preface where we have been the last week? Simply put, we RAN AWAY for a week and it was WONDERFUL!
But now we are back home and things are starting to get real!! So real, I am struggling to talk to anyone, let alone blog. But those closest to me know that this is what I do. So I am deeply grateful for their patience, prayers, and most of all love, while my family and I figure out how to prepare for this transition we must go through at the end of this month.
GingerSnap and I had a good laugh when we read this month’s calendar page quote.
She was blow away when she realized we are down to just a few more weeks left in Costa Rica. I hope we can get it all done and not in an exhausted way either. I think we can! 👍🏻
I’m trying not to feel bad that I spent my day mostly in our “sewing room”, instead of packing up our Homeschool room like I had planned.
I think I needed to repair Curly Cook’s favorite blanket today and listen to past voice messages from friends who are reaching out to our family. I think it was symbolic to me that first things need to come first! Like repairing a blanket so that it can be snuggled and held during the hard times ahead. I’m grateful my Father in Heaven’s guidance and love is a blanket of comfort to me to hold onto right now.
I’m also thankful that I have this blog and I feel it is vital that I record our journey, rather than go radio silent like I usually do. It isn’t going to be easy, wrapping up our 5 years of life in Costa Rica, but I know that with faith and trust in the Lord, we can do this together!!
Happy Friday Night,
