Happy Saturday! My daughter highly recommended that I get my blog post done EARLY today. So, in obedience to her wise counsel, I share a very special message with you from a living apostle of Jesus Christ.
This message isn’t just for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is a message for ALL who seek peace, comfort, hope, and a boost to their own faith and trust in God, at this time in our uncertain lives.
If you have enjoyed the messages that I have shared with you thus far, I hope you will trust the message I share with you today – through a video from someone else that I trust and have found hope in his wise words and living faith in a purposeful God.
I love you. I can truly say that I do because each time I blog a feeling of love and a wave of peace comes over me that I, myself, cannot contain. It is too much for me to use, so I share the rest with you. 💕
How I do this is? I do it by imagining that I am actually talking to you, face to face. I imagine you are asking me to share my hope and faith with you, from the personal experiences that I had today, and how I saw God helping me today. It feels like we have an eternal, purposeful friendship.
Then I imagine you feeling and hearing something that you needed to receive, whether it came from something that I shared, or your mind wandering off to think/feel something you hadn’t pondered yet that day. Then I see you smile (my greatest goal in writing each blog post is to help you to smile), I see you get up, and then purposefully go and live your day . . . until we get to visit again.
I like our friendship a lot. I like that I can share with you light and the truth that I personally feel, and that you can take it, or leave it. But hopefully you are leaving my time with you feeling/thinking better than before you arrived. For that is my greatest desire, to share something with you that will add joy to your beautiful, God given life.
I close my posting today with this scripture. It is the greatest truth that I know and believe with all my heart. . .
4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.
6 And whatsoever thing is good is just and true; wherefore, nothing that is good denieth the Christ, but acknowledgeth that he is.
7 And ye may know that he is, by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore I would exhort you that ye deny not the power of God; for he worketh by power, according to the faith of the children of men, the same today and tomorrow, and forever.Moroni 10: 4-7
I love you! Now go and live your greatest day today!
Happiest of Saturday’s!!!
