Today’s scripture is short and sweet. . .
Lift up your head and be of good cheer;3 Nephi 1:13
I need this right now. I think I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, or in an alternate universe. Maybe it’s due to all the rain we have had, and being cooped up in the RV ALL WEEK has caught up with me and I am done!
So done, I bought our family an annual pass to Monticello and made reservations for our family to tour it tomorrow afternoon. We are also going to do some maintenance on the RV, so we will take it with us. Which means we will be finding a campground to stay at tonight, and that makes me happy. 💕
It’s funny how the opportunity to do something you believe in, can get you starting to feel hopeful again. And I’m actually looking forward to going on a long drive, because I actually miss RV-ing.
Maybe Curly Cook’s new blog post got me missing what we maybe took for granted on our RV trip. . . being able to get outside of what makes us comfortable and learn about something new.!
I love this picture. (It’s on the home page of a website that I am growing to love and appreciate more each day.) When I look at this picture, it reminds me just how blessed I am with the amazing women in my life. They are lifting me up, encouraging me, inspiring me, comforting me, and sharing with me of their abundance.
If it wasn’t for good women in our lives, we wouldn’t have: an affordable place to sleep each night, a temporary car to use, or an RV to sleep in (I give my mother credit for raising such a generous son and his wife credit for being so chill about people using their things). I am also grateful for wise women who constantly check in on our family and pray for us daily. We are strong because of your added faith.
I am profoundly grateful for good women in this world! They are a great reason to “Lift up your head and be of good cheer.”
